About

The Amphion Alumni Society was formed in 2006 to assist in providing funding for the corps, and to provide an avenue for past members of the corps – cadets, officers, civilian instructors, and volunteers – to socialize and communicate with each other

Over the next year or two, the society raised some funds which were passed on to the corps.

After this time, the Nanaimo Navy League was in a better position to provide funding for the corps, and so the society became somewhat inactive.

In 2017, with the upcoming 75th Anniversary and Reunion in 2019, the Society re-emerged, with some change in directors, and is trying to promote membership in the society from past and present cadets and staff.

The intent now is to increase membership, to provide physical help, and provide financial assistance to the corps where there is no other support available.

In addition, it is the intent of the directors to promote future social activities to allow alumni members to meet and reacquaint with other members.

There is no membership fee at this time and all past Cadets, Officers, and Instructors are urged to join. Membership is also encouraged for anyone who has an interest in supporting RCSCC Amphion and the cadets.
